Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We simply wouldn’t be making wine without a huge supporting cast. Nowhere is that more evident than our Pasotismo project.

The Pasotismo collection is the result of an extraordinary, life-affirming collaboration. In 2015 Batan de Salas took a chance on us, opened up their winery, and allowed us to pursue our dream of making our own wines, in our own way. After years of working in the same winery, breaking bread over long lunches and having heated debates over cold beers, it was inevitable that we’d start talking about a collaboration project.
We called it Pasotismo.
A genuine coming together of winemaking families with a common goal of making modern wines that thumb their nose at what’s expected of Somontano.
Since the project started we have completely revolutionised our approach to farming and winemaking. We have become the most viticulturally dynamic winery in the whole of Somontano, working tirelessly to re-establish indigenous varieties and farm sustainably despite increased climatic demands.
The result is three wines that perfectly exemplify what happens when good people get together with a clear goal. We set out to make wines that matter. Wines that are sustainable and responsible but also have provenance and purpose. And with Pasotismo Tinto, Pasotismo Blanco, and Moristel ‘76, we’ve achieved our goals and then some.
