Style – Deep, rich and round this is a big wine with a seriously soft mouthfeel. A hint of astringency and acidity on the finish bring freshness and enhance the length of the wine giving a fantastic platform for food pairings.

Food – This is definitely a wine that’s happy on its own but if you’re looking for a paring we recommend matching the depth of the wine with umami flavours. Mushrooms, food from the grill or richer sauces are fantastic but anything too high in acidity or sweetness will mask the quality of the wine.

Occasion – When you can take the time to really enjoy every sip.

Drinking Tip – A bit of aeration goes a long way with this wine. If you can’t use a decanter pour the wine into a jug and back again. Believe us, it’s worth it.
